PTA

Welcome to the PTA's Information page.

It is important to remember that everyone is a part of the PTA whether you attend the official meetings or not.  You are all needed to support our school and your children's leaning journey.

We raise a substantial amount of money which is spent on valuable resources but without you, the events would not happen or be as successful.

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an elected committee that meets once a month at the school.  Each Year group has a PTA Class Rep who will be asking you throughout the year for your help, suggestions and feedback.  The events run on a regular basis are the Christmas and summer fairs, quiz night, Easter Egg raffle for the children and a family bingo evening.

Last year, using money raised at these events, the PTA bought
various items at the suggestion of the teachers including:

  • annual subscription to First News for the school
  • Year 6 leavers books
  • An end of year entertainer for Nursery
  • Maths equipment to support the maths programme of learning
  • Two large canvas sails to provide shade in the back playground
  • Visits from various theatre groups
  • Playground equipment
  • Astroturf for playground areas
  • £1500 of new books for the library
  • A substantial percentage of the cost of a new Clavinova electric piano

In addition to the above, we have provided ad hoc treats:

  • Each class with a sum of money to spend on resources specific to their class
  • Year 6 with a west end theatre trip
  • Refreshments at sports days
  • Crackers at the Christmas lunch

We are always trying to think of new and exciting events and activities for every member of the school community to attend and enjoy.  If you have ideas for events or wish to be more involved in the PTA then do let us know.  There is a suggestion box in the school reception and you are more than welcome to have a chat to your class rep.

We remain committed to running exciting and enjoyable events and thank families and friends who are linked to All Saints School for all their support to date. We look forward to encouraging even greater support from you all in the future.
