School Council
School Councillors are voted by their classes at the beginning of each academic year to represent their views.
The School Councillors' responsibility is to listen to their class and then raise issues succinctly within the Council setting. Council meetings happen regularly throughout each term and are chaired by Mr Matthews. Each class from year 2-6 chose a chair and a deputy School Councillor.
The School Council provides a voice for children's opinions, and an opportunity for the children to help improve All Saints, particularly on issues which can only be seen from a child's perspective.
Other members of staff join school council meetings e.g. Mrs Bramble to introduce lunch suggestions from the children.
Our school council are a credit to the school and do a fabulous job at collecting suggestions and ideas from their classmates and bringing them to the meetings.
Many things have been introduced to the school through our school council meetings, such as having equipment to play with, meal suggestions and charity days and changes in our timetables.
