Applicants will be placed on a Waiting List once notification has been received from the London Borough of Sutton Admissions Department that an In Year Application is in place. The school Admissions Officer will email you at this time to confirm your entry onto a Waiting List and confirm your position on this Waiting List at the time of entry.
Please Note: All applications are ranked according to the school's published oversubscription criteria, no priority is given to children according to the date their application is received or by the date their name is added to a Waiting List. Your child's position on a Waiting List can fluctuate and they may move up, as well as down a list. This is because other children might be added to a Waiting List who have a greater priority for a place according to the school's admission criteria.
All Saints Carshalton CofE Primary School is an Anglican School working within the Southward Diocesan Board of Education Multi-Academy Trust, as such we offer 80% Foundation (church) places and 20% Open places. When we receive your details from the Admissions Department at the London Borough of Sutton you will be placed on our Open Waiting List. However, if you attend a Christian Church it may be possible for you to be added to a Foundation Waiting List as well. Foundation places are for children whose parents/guardians are 'regular and faithful' members of a Christian church. If you think you might qualify for a Foundation Place please read our Admission Policy very carefully.
What is a 'regular and faithful' member of a Christian Church?
The phrase regular and faithful worshippers is defined as the regular attendance of at least one parent/carer at least fortnightly for at least two years at the advertised regular public worship of their church at the time of application.
If you think you are eligible to apply for the Foundation Waiting List please complete and return our Supplementary Form below:
The Supplementary From must be completed in full. The last page of the supplementary form must be completed by your church Minister and stamped with their Official Church Stamp. If your church does not have an official stamp, then the Supplementary form can be accompanied by a confirmation on church letter headed paper, signed my your Minister. Only original copies of these documents will be accepted. Once a clergy reference has been verified you will be added to the Foundation Waiting List for the appropriate year group and our Admissions Officer will email you to confirm your entry on a Waiting List and confirm your position on a Waiting List at the time of entry.
Your child will remain on a Waiting List until the 31 July each year. In July of each year our Admissions Officer will contact you via email to find out whether or not you want your child to remain on a Waiting List. If your contact details change at any time please make sure you update the information we hold on you by emailing email@example.com. If we cannot contact you in July of each year then we will assume you are no longer interested in a space and remove you from our Waiting List.
As children leave the school vacancies are created. When a child leaves we will try to fill a place from the Foundation Waiting List. If this is unsuccessful we will move to the Open Waiting List. If a space becomes available our Admission Officer will contact the family of the child at the top of a Waiting List to offer a place. If you are still interested in a place at All Saints you will be given the opportunity to visit our school and an offer of a place at All Saints Carshalton CofE Primary School will be emailed to you.
If you have any particular questions regarding our school or you wish to discuss your child's specific needs please email our Admissions Officer on firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone via 020 8401 0075.
